DOA Policy and Shipping

Be aware of possible delays when shipping due to COVID - 19 or natural events/disasters
We guarantee live arrival on all shipments if they are delivered within 48 hours of sending.

When having shrimp shipped to you it is important to plan accordingly so that your shrimp arrive in good health and with as little stress as possible. Please ensure your address is accurate and complete. A wrong or inaccurate address can significantly threaten the welfare of shrimp in transit and will void the D.O.A policy and guarantee. 

In the event of DOA, a clear video and photos of the DOA livestock in an unopened shipping bag is required to receive store credit. The video file must be received within 1 hour of package delivery time as given by the courier when delivered. Video must be sent to our Facebook messenger. Shrimp are not guaranteed past arrival. Opening the shipping bags ends the arrival period and, without video, indicates that the shrimp are acceptable in the condition they arrived.

 

We use express post for shipping and shipping costs will be a flat rate of $25,  We do ship Australia wide but please note that live goods cannot be shipped to Western Australia, The Northern Territory or Tasmania due to state laws and regulations.

We try to ship every Monday to provide shipments with best possible outcomes, but we do not ship on public holidays.

 

Terms & Conditions for purchase of Live Shrimp:

1. We reserve the right to cancel or delay live shrimp orders for any reason. which may include but are not limited to:

    Extreme temperatures posing a risk to the welfare of shrimp during transit.
    Condition or health of shrimp deemed unacceptable for transport.
    insufficient stock to fill an order.

2. Any guarantee only extends to cover livestock. Shipping charges and fees are not refundable in any circumstance.

3. In the event of casualty D.O.A, shrimp will not be resent, instead a store credit may be issued if other criteria are met.

4. All sizes of shrimp on our website are of estimated sizes only. New available stock is added to our store weekly and we do our best to update our site accordingly. In the event that a shrimp is grossly different to that as advertised a clear picture of the shrimp in the bag before opening and a picture of the shrimp on a ruler after opening must be send by email or Facebook messenger for processing. ONLY shrimp that are undersized by more than 50% of the advertised size will be processed with a 50% return in the form of store credit. Oversized shrimp do not qualify for any compensation.
